Tuesday & Friday:

Responsibilities Performs excellent radiographs with little or no repeat films in a timely manner. Accurate data with films. Is able to work well with all types of patients and presents a friendly professional demeanor. Checks orders, organizes paperwork, and presents to Radiologist in a professional and confidant manner. Verifies all information. Informs proper person of needed supplies and keeps rooms stocked and cleaned. Obtains accurate phone reports and relays message. Performs EKG's. Capable of running own films and utilizes PAC/RIS as needed. Fosters a team effort by offering to help with other duties as needed or requested. Use initiative to assist without being asked. Merge previous images into the PAC's. Scans previous reports and outside orders into the RIS. Calls inside and outside sites to locate prior exams. Puts idle time to good use in other areas as needed. Exhibits computer systems knowledge and proficiency as necessary to perform job functions. Demonstrates the attitudes and behaviors of The South Bend Clinic Service Standards. Performs other duties as assigned when appropriate. Adheres to HIPAA guidelines set forth in Clinic policies and procedures.
Qualifications Education/Certification/License:
ARRT Registered Technologist. Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Indiana.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have a good knowledge of general radiology procedures. Should be proficient in the use of computers and digital radiography systems, including RIS and PACS. Must be friendly, attentive, helpful, and show concern for others. Must have a positive attitude/outlook. Must take initiative, be able to problem solve, and be self-motivated. Must consistently meet expectations of patients and/or customers and make satisfaction a top priority. Must have good telephone and communication skills. Must be able to exhibit tact and professionalism in working with others. Must be a team player and help to work to move the departmental and organizational goals forward.
