Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Your expertise in various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, DEXA scans, and sonography, will ensure accurate and high-quality imaging outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, providing critical imaging support. You will play a key role in delivering compassionate patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and aseptic technique. Qualifications Current Kansas Board of Healing Arts Licensure ARRT Registration Duties Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam Operate advanced imaging equipment adhering strictly to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of all procedures performed Assist in emergency situations by providing rapid imaging support for trauma assessments or urgent medical needs Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually improve service quality Experience Proven experience working in diagnostic radiology with proficiency in X-ray and CT Prior experience in emergency room settings is highly desirable Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging procedures Familiarity with medical terminology used in radiology reports and patient care documentation Experience operating complex medical imaging equipment with adherence to safety standards Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to assist physicians with image interpretation Join us to make a difference through medical imaging! Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
