MRI Technologist - Coordinator/Lead (Full Time)

IMAGING Are you looking to be part of a compassionate, patient-focused care team? We are currently seeking a Registered MRI Technologist, Coordinator to join our Imaging Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality MRI exams while delivering patient care that prioritizes comfort, safety, and exceptional service for every patient and family member. The Registered MRI Technologist plays an essential role in ensuring accurate imaging and maintaining professional standards of Radiologic Technology and MRI Safety. This position requires a patient-centered professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and the independence to make sound decisions throughout the workday. You may also assist in modality-specific tasks or step into X-ray duties within the department as needed. This position reports to the Imaging Services Director and is classified as hourly, non-exempt. Sign On Bonus plus additional retention bonus!
Key Responsibilities Include:
Performing high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with safety and departmental protocols Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout all imaging procedures Communicating MRI safety guidelines to patients, coworkers, and non-imaging staff Maintaining professional standards of Radiologic Technology and MRI Safety Utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care Delegating or supporting tasks within the imaging team as needed Performing additional general radiography duties within the department Supporting workflow efficiency and timely patient throughput
QUALIFICATIONS
Education High school diploma or equivalent, with additional related training or education Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered MRI Technologist Ability to work independently and maintain high clinical and technical standards Knowledge & Skills Registered by ARRT in Radiologic Technology Registered by ARRT in Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain professionalism and accuracy under varying workloads Knowledge of MRI equipment, imaging protocols, and safety principles Licensure, Registration or Certification Current A.R.R.T. registration in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist licensure through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Additional registries may be required depending on modality assignments Join our Team! NMC Health offers a family friendly environment with the latest technology and a knowledgeable staff.
