Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Advance your radiology career by delivering high-quality patient care and performing CT imaging studies in a hospital setting. This contract role focuses on supporting a busy CT department equipped with state-of-the-art GE Optimas scanners and dedicated to trauma and routine imaging, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic services for diverse patient populations.
Schedule:
Contract-based position (duration dependent on assignment requirements) Flexible hours may be required to meet department needs
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification in
BLS ARRT
(CT) certification Valid Kansas state license Extensive experience operating GE CT equipment Strong trauma imaging background Exceptional patient care skills and a compassionate approach Ability to adapt to varying case volumes and urgency Proficiency documenting exams in McKesson PACS and Meditech Professional demeanor, reliability, and willingness to adhere to dress codes (black scrubs required)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct precise CT scans—including trauma procedures—using GE Optimas machines Collaborate closely with fellow technologists, radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals Deliver courteous, attentive care to every patient and maintain patient comfort and safety at all times Accurately document procedures and support efficient workflow in a three-scanner department Adapt quickly to the needs of a dynamic hospital environment, including occasional floating as needed Working with a team of skilled technologists in a modern imaging department gives you the opportunity to expand your expertise while making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
