Full Job Description Job Title:

Current Transformer (CT) Technician / Electrical Technician We are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians for a project involving the installation and wiring of Current Transformers (CTs) for electrical monitoring and metering systems. Candidates should have experience working inside electrical panels, switchboards, and commercial/industrial environments while following strict electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Install and wire Current Transformers (CTs) in switchboards and electrical panels Work with solid-core and split-core CTs for energy metering and monitoring applications Assist with revenue-grade metering installations and electrical monitoring systems Terminate and label wiring according to project specifications and electrical drawings Ensure CT secondary circuits are properly connected to shorting blocks and follow all safety protocols Verify proper operation and assist with testing/troubleshooting of metering equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:

Experience working with Current Transformers (CTs) and electrical metering systems preferred Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and NEC standards Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and electrical schematics Experience working in commercial or industrial electrical environments Familiarity with switchboards, panels, and low-voltage electrical systems Must have basic hand tools and

PPE OSHA

certification is a plus Reliable transportation and ability to work independently or with a team

Preferred Experience:

Revenue-grade metering Electrical panel work Energy monitoring systems Low voltage or controls experience Troubleshooting electrical systems
