$37-$48/hr (based on experience) Job Summary The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and care. You'll work closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to imaging Obtain and communicate relevant clinical history Screen patients and staff for MRI safety compliance Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Position patients for optimal imaging while ensuring comfort and safety Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any issues Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as needed Maintain accurate records and imaging archives

MRI Department Overview Equipment:

2 GE scanners + 1

Siemens Volume:

20+ outpatient exams/day + inpatient add-ons

Specialties:

Cardiac MRI Anesthesia cases (dedicated scanner block weekly)

Schedule Note:

MRI runs until ~11 PM on weekdays (no overnight scanning) Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiography program (CAHEA or equivalent) ARRT (R) certification required BLS certification (AHA preferred) 0-2 years of clinical experience (paid experience required) GE experience preferred (not required) Why This Opportunity?
