Skills & Qualifications:
Certified/licensed Radiologic Technologist with expertise in imaging and IR (Interventional Radiology) technology. Proficient in performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, and computer image processing. Knowledge of and ability to implement ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) safety principles. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Previous experience providing guidance or instruction to students or new staff preferred.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; specific schedule details provided upon interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply pulsed x-ray energy and advanced imaging techniques to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure accurate verification of patient identity and thorough documentation in electronic health records. Prepare and assist in peripheral venipuncture and time-out procedures for invasive exams. Adhere strictly to established department protocols and hospital policies. Proactively manage daily patient flow and staff scheduling. Aid in staff training, protocol development, and onboarding of new employees. Supervise and educate imaging students during clinical rotations. Continually maintain radiation safety for patients and self. Collaborate closely with Radiologists, nursing, and transport units to deliver seamless patient care.
