Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT - MRI preferred) Minimum one year of recent MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and providing high-quality imaging studies Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
Responsibilities:
Obtain high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established procedures Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting as necessary Accurately document studies and maintain patient records within the electronic health system Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
