Job Description:

SCOPE:

Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration diagnostic and radiation therapy CT exams; ensures patient safety, technical quality and timely transfer of data; fabricates any necessary immobilization devices prior to scan as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform CT scans for routine radiologic exams. Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes. Perform X-Ray scans for diagnostic use Perform Panorex for dental clinic. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology. 2 years experience as radiological technologist. CT experience preferred. Registered by ARRT with current License by the state of Louisiana, CRP For more than 50 years, the staff at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center has provided the highest quality care to our patients.
