Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as an integral member of a skilled imaging team, specializing in radiologic and X-ray procedures. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals who are dedicated to accuracy, patient safety, and effective collaboration within a dynamic healthcare setting. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced colleagues to perform vital diagnostic imaging that supports clinical decisions.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent Current state licensure in radiology technology Proven experience with general X-ray and advanced radiology imaging procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and work efficiently with clinicians and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations, including standard X-rays and other radiology techniques as needed Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort and safety Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and referring physicians for comprehensive patient care Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain detailed patient records through electronic medical systems Calibrate, operate, and routinely inspect imaging equipment to guarantee functionality and safety Uphold infection control standards and ensure cleanliness of examination and equipment areas
