Qualifications:

Certified in Mammography (ARRT (M) or equivalent credential) Valid, current license in radiologic technology Demonstrated experience performing mammograms, with proficiency in operating digital mammography equipment In-depth knowledge of imaging safety protocols and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and clinical teams Ability to maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory standards

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality mammographic examinations according to established procedures Prepare patients by explaining the procedure, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort Review images for accuracy, clarity, and completeness before submitting them for radiologist review Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety Adhere to all quality assurance and infection control protocols Accurately document clinical information and imaging results in electronic health records Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care
