Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care by performing high-quality mammography imaging in a specialized healthcare environment. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled and detail-oriented Mammo Technologist committed to accuracy, safety, and compassionate patient interactions.
Qualifications:
Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and Mammography (M). State radiologic technologist license, if required. Minimum of one year experience in mammography imaging. Strong understanding of breast imaging positioning, imaging protocols, and quality assurance processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring patient comfort and clear instructions during procedures. Computer proficiency, especially with PACS and EMR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality digital mammography exams using established protocols and safety standards. Accurately position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic images. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and obtain informed consent prior to procedures. Assist radiologists during procedures and provide clear explanations to patients regarding imaging processes. Ensure timely documentation of procedures and images in electronic records systems. Conduct routine equipment checks, perform quality control tests, and promptly report equipment malfunctions. Adhere to infection control and radiation safety procedures. Collaborate with peers and healthcare staff to maintain a supportive, efficient clinical environment.
