Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Take your radiology skills to the next level in a modern healthcare environment focused on exceptional patient care and diagnostic excellence. This opportunity is ideal for an Imaging - Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic clinical setting. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Valid state licensure in radiologic technology Proven experience as a Radiology Tech and X-ray Technologist in a healthcare facility Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and infection control standards Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate diagnostic x-ray and radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols Ensure strict adherence to patient privacy and safety regulations Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations, explaining procedures and providing support as needed Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient records in electronic health systems Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment
