Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in MRI imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, where quality patient care and advanced diagnostic technology go hand in hand. Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent required) Valid state licensure as applicable Demonstrated experience operating MRI systems and performing high-quality imaging studies Knowledge of patient safety and MRI safety protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in imaging procedures BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures following established protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety during scans Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, cooperating with radiologists as needed Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly Document all scan procedures and patient records accurately and securely Ensure adherence to safety guidelines for patients and staff in the MRI suite Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with best practices and advancements in MRI technology This contract role offers a well-rounded clinical experience in a welcoming healthcare setting focused on patient care, continued learning, and professional growth.
