Radiology Technologist - PER DIEM

Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates, Inc. [PBOA] is a busy, multi-physician, patient-centered orthopedic practice seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Clinical Team! Excellent opportunity for an Radiologic Technologist to work in a multi-site, fast paced orthopedic practice.

Responsibilities:

Perform x-rays ordered by the Provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems Communicate effectively with all types of patients to gain their understanding and cooperation with radiographic testing Prepare radiographic equipment Position patients correctly Accurate captures the requested diagnostic image by setting the appropriate technique to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged Take preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation Wear appropriate RAD badge at all times

Position Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program is required Ability to initiate and complete tasks related to job duties without direct supervisor Ability to work well with others and be willing to help when needed Ability to multi-task with patients and other responsibilities
