Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal imaging role focused on providing expert mammography services as part of a dynamic healthcare team. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking to put their mammography expertise to work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Qualifications:
ARRT (M) certification required Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist, with familiarity in operating and maintaining mammography equipment Excellent knowledge of radiologic procedures, positioning, and patient safety protocols Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and quality standards Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings as required Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure clear, high-quality images for interpretation Adhere strictly to radiation safety measures and infection control policies Educate patients regarding procedures and answer any questions to provide a positive experience Participate in regular equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks This contract opportunity provides a professional setting where your skills and dedication to women's health will be highly valued.
