Summary
Assists the manager with operational oversight, improvement of clinical operations, and staff supervision. Functions include training, mentoring, and evaluating clinical staff, overseeing coordination of clinical activities for students, coordination of patient care and flow, telephone triage, medical information management, and clinical support for the physician. Also performs the duties of a clinical staff member and serves as a role model and resource person for staff in the department. This position acts as a liaison between the clinical staff, managers, and physicians.

Essential Functions
- Assist management with operational oversight, quality improvement, operational flow, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices
- Assist in providing guidance to staff, staff scheduling, triage duties, and is a resource to staff
- Oversees the coordination of clinical activities for students to ensure they are meeting core curriculum requirements
- Assures high quality images are submitted by technologists to ensure optimal diagnostic information is available to physicians for accurate and complete patient diagnosis
- Demonstrates positive customer service focus by delivering exemplary personal patient contact while executing radiology clinical duties
- Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, managers, and physicians
- Provides quality all levels of MRI diagnostic procedures Education
Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging required, Associate's preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No Licenses and Credentials
Magnetic Resonance Imaging [ARRT-MR]
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required Experience
MRI Tech experience with multiple patient populations 3-5 years required leadership experience 0-1 year preferred. MRSO Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others.
- Good business acumen skills.
