We are willing to hire a Radiology Technologist who is interested in cross-training and becoming licensed in CT. •Up to $15,000 new hire sign-on bonus for these positions. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)•

Location:

Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA Overview Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within radiography and computed tomography as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Responsible for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and attainment of primary certification within one year of eligibility. Post-primary certification in the advanced practice discipline of CT is required for RTs within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA). Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the
