Hours/Week Schedule:
7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 10:30 AM-7:00 PM We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, image quality, and radiation safety in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently Select appropriate imaging protocols and ensure quality diagnostic images Position patients accurately and maintain patient comfort and safety Review images for technical quality and diagnostic adequacy Explain procedures to patients and reduce anxiety during exams Assist physicians and nursing staff during procedures Perform equipment quality checks and report issues as needed Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Administer contrast media when trained and authorized Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program Current ARRT certification required CT certification or ARRT CT registration required Minimum 3 years Radiologic Technologist experience OR 1 year recent CT experience within the last 5 years Valid Massachusetts Radiation Control license Current BLS Certification Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
