Job:
Medstar Health is looking for a Diagnostic Technologist to join our team! This is a PRN position. We are looking for fora registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills. The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation. - Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
- Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures. Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and maintains room.
- Performs radiographic examinations. Prepares written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Requests and orders supply.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- ed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Associate degree preferred. This position has a hiring range of : USD $29.73
