Full-Time Radiology/Scrub Technologist w/ monthly bonus potential

Radiology/ Scrub Technologists will provide high end critical radiographic care to patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures. The CVM Vascular Labs perform innovative peripheral vascular care in an outpatient procedural setting. Radiology/Scrub Technologists play an instrumental role in the Cath Lab area, including surgical scrub duties and direct assistance to physicians. Radiology/Scrub Technologist are part of an interdisciplinary team focused on safe patient care and quality patient outcomes. CVM Radiology/Scrub Technologists are able to provide compassion to the patient in need, as well as the critical interventions and collaborative care needed during procedures.

Various center locations:

Greenbelt, MD, and Annapolis, MD. Working Conditions/ Physical Demands Must be able to work in a patient care environment requiring some physical exertion, push/pull and transfer of patient and stretchers and wearing of X-ray lead apron. May be exposed to bio-hazards such as bodily fluids and X-ray radiation. Must be able to travel to other procedural labs in Annapolis. Must posses the physical ability and stamina to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time to perform the essential functions of the position.

Requirements:

Current Maryland Radiology Technician or Surgical Technician certification is required. Knowledge of safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, co-workers and self is required. BLS and ACLS required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Training:

Carefully selected candidates will receive appropriate training to ensure that they obtain excellent knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy and procedures. Cath Lab Technologists must have scrub experience and assist with radiographic assisted peripheral vascular procedures. Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology experience is preferred but not required.
