Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant community of Laurel, MD—a hub perfectly located to allow you to enjoy the best of both city and suburban lifestyles. This travel assignment not only brings you to a thriving region, but also offers opportunities to expand your professional expertise as an Imaging IR Tech in a Level II Trauma acute care environment. Dive into a dynamic hospital setting with a high-acuity caseload, where each day brings new cases and collaborative learning. You'll work alongside seasoned professionals, observing and integrating a variety of workplace styles and leadership methods, giving your resume a valuable edge. Laurel places you within reach of major metropolitan centers, making your downtime an adventure filled with cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and historical exploration.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour day shifts Weekend call required: 1 full weekend per month On-call currently approx. 7-10 days per month (
STEMI Call:
must respond within 30 minutes)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad spectrum of interventional radiology procedures with a caseload of 8-12 daily Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Guarantee responsive and timely support for on-call STEMI activation (2-hour callback guaranteed) Document using Cerner and McKesson electronic charting systems Maintain adherence to the hospital's no-tobacco policy (nicotine testing required)
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification and current or pending Maryland state license ACLS and BLS certifications required Proven experience in a high-volume, acute care setting Excellent response time and dependability for on-call requirements Commitment to exemplary patient care and safety
