Job Description

•In-Person Interview Event for Northern Light AR Gould Hospital •Join us Thursday, July 9th, 2026, between 1:00pm - 4:30pm in Presque Isle Hiring CT Tech/RAD for Full-Time and Per-Diem schedules Our team of Hiring Managers will be there to interview you during this time Respond today to get your dedicated interview time scheduled
Summary:
The staff CT Technologist performs CT scan and x-ray examinations of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the clinician. The CT Scan Technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply a prescribed amount of x-radiation for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality CT scans for interpretation by the radiologist.
Responsibilities :
Performs CT scan procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures within standard time frames. Maintains equipment in good operating condition and operates equipment according to department and manufacturer's recommendations. Prepares and orients patients to the procedures. Is cooperative and helpful in a clear and courteous manner to co-workers, staff, patients and visitors. Maintains and exhibits a current knowledge of CT scan technology and participates in continuing education. Performs radiologic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols when not assigned to CT scan duties. Keeps current on issues with radiation safety dose and patient care. Other Duties.
Requirements:
Valid Maine License (or eligible to obtain) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R(RT) and R(CT) (or registry eligible) 2 years clinical experience preferred
