Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our busy Primary Care and Pediatrics practice. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to physicians while ensuring excellent patient care and efficient office workflow. Responsibilities Greet and escort patients to exam rooms in a professional and friendly manner Obtain and document patient vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and pulse oximetry in the EMR Collect urine specimens for laboratory analysis Perform diagnostic testing including EKGs and pulmonary function tests (PFTs) Administer injections, vaccines, and immunizations as directed by the physician Perform x-rays Prepare and stock exam rooms prior to patient visits and procedures Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of all exam rooms and clinical areas Utilize proper medical terminology and maintain accurate patient documentation Follow infection control, HIPAA, and office safety protocols Provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinical environment Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified X-Ray Technician preferred Current CPR certification preferred Experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment X-ray experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate Skills Preferred Patient intake and triage Clinical documentation Venipuncture and specimen collection experience a plus EKG and PFT testing Immunization administration Radiology/X-ray procedures
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
