Schedule/Hrs:
Travel contract assignment (specifics shared during interview)Key Responsibilities:
Set up, monitor, and operate CT equipment for diagnostic procedures. Transfer and position patients using proper safety and lifting techniques; apply immobilization devices as needed. Obtain patient identification, elicit vital information, and review relevant medical histories. Prepare and inject intravenous contrast media per examination protocol. Produce and archive diagnostic images; maintain electronic/digital records. Calibrate, maintain, and arrange repair for imaging equipment per departmental policies. Organize daily patient schedules and assist with workflow management. Monitor patients for allergic reactions, provide basic CPR and support in emergency situations. Comply with safety standards specified by the Michigan Department of Public Health. Maintain a clean working environment and adequate inventory of supplies. Instruct new personnel and support radiologists during specialized procedures. Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and maintain registry requirements.Qualifications:
Demonstrated skill with CT imaging procedures and equipment. Knowledge of patient safety, departmental protocols, and contrast media. Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Current certification and continuing education per regulatory standards. Experience working collaboratively in a radiology team environment.Benefits & Perks:
