Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging by providing essential diagnostic services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract position calls for a skilled Radiology Technologist with a strong background in trauma and operating room procedures. Candidates will support both scheduled and emergency imaging needs, becoming an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through
Friday:
11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Every other weekend:
1:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Key Qualifications:
Active ARRT certification required Current and valid BLS certification Minimum experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center Demonstrated prior experience in the operating room setting Proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, and vascular imaging procedures highly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse clinical teams
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiographic exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and efficient results Provide intraoperative imaging support for orthopedic, neuro, and vascular cases Collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging outcomes Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment according to hospital standards Safeguard patient comfort and safety at all times, adhering to infection prevention and radiation safety guidelines Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in trauma and procedural imaging environments.
