Job Description
Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care by utilizing your expertise in MRI technology within a reputable healthcare setting. As an Imaging - MRI Technologist, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic images that will assist clinical teams in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This contract position is ideal for a skilled and compassionate professional committed to patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Qualifications:
Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT (MR) certification preferred) Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid and current state license as required Minimum of one year experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment Excellent knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assist, position, and support patients with professionalism and empathyCore Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI scans as prescribed by referring physicians, ensuring image quality meets diagnostic standards Interact compassionately with patients, addressing questions and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety Accurately document patient medical information and procedural data within hospital systems Maintain MRI equipment, perform necessary quality checks, and report technical issues promptly Apply established safety measures to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team to deliver timely results Monitor inventory of supplies and assist with department workflow efficiency If you have a commitment to patient care and technical excellence, this opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive clinical setting with advanced imaging technology. to take the next step in your imaging career and make a real difference in patient outcomes.
