Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career as a skilled Radiologic Technologist, delivering high-quality radiology and X-ray services in a fast-paced Level III Trauma environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers a dynamic schedule of 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, including every other weekend rotation.
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required Minimum 6 months of recent Radiology Tech/X-ray Tech experience Proficient in OR, ER, portable radiography, and general diagnostic radiology Strong commitment to patient care, with reliability, dependability, and effective communication skills Exceptional clinical judgment paired with technical accuracy
Schedule:
7:00 am - 7:30 pm shifts Every other weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiologic procedures under physician orders, applying sound judgment for technique and positioning Communicate exam procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding Analyze requisition data, review patient history, and select appropriate imaging protocols Set up and control imaging equipment, using immobilization and radiation safety techniques Administer and monitor intravenous contrast media when necessary, providing immediate support for any adverse reactions Uphold stringent infection control and patient privacy standards Maintain supply inventory and ensure procedure areas are properly stocked and organized Complete all required records, documentation, PACS image verification, and RIS study indexing with precision Educate and support new hires and students while managing daily responsibilities Collaborate with radiologists and serve as an engaged member of the clinical team, promoting a positive work environment Enjoy the benefit of working directly with a manager for interviews, ensuring a streamlined hiring experience.
