Clinic Manager Position Description :
The X-Ray Technician - C-Arm will perform diagnostic X-rays and fluoroscopic imaging with proper positioning, radiation safety, and sterile technique. They will operate C-arm equipment during procedures, maintain imaging and procedure rooms, and ensure infection control and equipment quality. They will assist with digital imaging management, clinical support, and patient documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic x-rays and fluoroscopic imaging (C-arm) using proper positioning, radiation safety, and shielding techniques. Operate C-arm equipment during in-office procedures in accordance with provider direction and sterile technique standards. Demonstrate competency in sterile field setup and maintenance, including proper donning and doffing of sterile attire and handling of sterile instruments and supplies. Maintain x-ray and procedure rooms, including equipment maintenance, infection prevention practices, and completion of required quality control procedures. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to imaging, radiation safety, sterile technique, and clinical workflows. Assist with digital transfer, documentation, and management of patient imaging across internal systems and external facilities. Become proficient in all office and hospital-based computer systems relevant to imaging and procedural support. Comply with HIPAA regulations and consistently maintain patient confidentiality. Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment for patients, providers, and coworkers. Perform additional clinical duties assigned, which may include assisting providers during procedures, medical history input, and cleaning and reprocessing instruments
Working & Environmental Conditions :
Primarily in an indoor clinical/office setting with moderate noise levels. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds is required. The role may require prolonged periods of standing and frequent use of computer equipment. This role works closely with specialty medical equipment and exposure to biohazardous materials. This role requires the usage of personal protective equipment and requires in-person attendance. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements:
Qualifications ARRT registered or registry-eligible; must maintain certification and require continuing education (CME). Documented training and demonstrated competency in C-arm operation and fluoroscopic imaging. Training and experience in sterile field setup and maintenance within a procedural or surgical environment.
