This position combines technical expertise in medical imaging modalities with compassionate patient interaction, ensuring accurate diagnostics and a positive experience for every individual. You will be responsible for performing a variety of radiologic procedures, assisting in clinical tasks, and supporting emergency and urgent care services within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple imaging techniques while contributing to critical diagnostic evaluations. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic Xrays for injuried patients Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as patient preparation, vital signs monitoring, and maintaining sterile environments using aseptic techniques. Support emergency room and urgent care teams by providing timely imaging services during high-pressure situations involving Level I Trauma Center or Level II trauma center experience. Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, maintain detailed records of imaging results, and manage patient data securely in compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients about procedures, ensure their comfort, and address any concerns related to diagnostic imaging or clinical processes. Maintain proficiency in anatomy knowledge and physiology to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy across various modalities. Uphold safety standards for radiation exposure and infection control while operating complex imaging equipment such as MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), DEXA scanners, and other diagnostic radiology tools. Skills Knowledge of medical imaging techniques in X-ray, Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation and radiologic procedures. Ability to apply aseptic technique consistently to prevent infection during clinical tasks. Proficiency in diagnostic radiology practices with a focus on safety protocols for radiation exposure. Knowledge of emergency medicine workflows to support rapid response scenarios involving complex trauma cases.
