Job Description

Position Summary Radiant Vascular Institute, PC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to support physicians during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures in an Office-Based Lab (OBL) setting. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, assisting with sterile procedures, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities Imaging & Procedural Support Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment during diagnostic angiography and interventional vascular procedures Assist physicians with catheter-based interventions, including peripheral vascular, targeted percutaneous, and endovascular procedures Acquire, process, and archive high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols Position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedure room setup and breakdown, and post procedure cleaning Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, Cath lab, vascular lab, or OBL setting preferred Experience with fluoroscopy with respect to vascular or interventional procedures RCIS or willingness to obtain advanced cardiovascular/interventional credentials Familiarity with
PACS, EMR
systems, and radiation dose monitoring Strong understanding of sterile technique and contrast administration Skills & Competencies Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy Strong communication and patient interaction skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity outpatient procedural setting Professional demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and transfer Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-Based Lab / outpatient procedural setting Standing for prolonged periods; wearing lead aprons during procedures Lifting and positioning patients with assistance when required Exposure to ionizing radiation (within regulated limits) Employment Type & Schedule Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN (as applicable) Standard office hours (typical of OBL setting) Occasional schedule flexibility based on procedural volume

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
