Job Description

Job Summary Xray Technologist (Imaging) Petoskey, MI. The imaging technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level, typically requiring general supervision. Responsibilities include positioning patients and using radiologic equipment to accurately capture images ordered by a physician, while ensuring results are communicated to the physician on duty. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details Schedule:
Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
ARRT credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); X-ray experience (2+ years required); travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is preferred (if applicable).
Additional Information:
Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster patient comfort and confidence, and positions patients to ensure imaging needs are met. Operates and maintains assigned imaging department equipment (including x-ray), performs imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, and ensures the physician on duty is notified of results.
