Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; valid ARRT (CT) certification required Current state licensure (if applicable) Experience with computed tomography studies and IV/oral contrast administration Proficient venipuncture and sterile technique skills Strong communication abilities and a patient-focused approach
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; shift details provided upon request
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality CT scans and radiographic imaging with strict adherence to protocols and patient safety Differentiate normal from abnormal anatomy and adjust protocols as needed in collaboration with radiologists Administer IV and oral contrast in compliance with departmental and institutional guidelines, monitoring patient well-being throughout each procedure Practice rigorous radiation safety for patients and team, utilizing shielding and collimation measures Perform essential nursing duties, including obtaining clinical history, vital signs, and assisting physicians during sterile procedures Recognize and react appropriately to allergic reactions and urgent patient conditions
