Job Description

CT Tech Traverse City, MI $3,100/week based on 40 hours/week 5x8 day shift 13 week contract to start Must haves: 1-2 years of CT Tech experience, previous hospital experience, BLS certified CORE Staffing offers Loyalty Bonuses, Health Insurance, 401K to all our contracted clinicians Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services. In this role, you will operate advanced CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment that values precision, safety, and compassionate patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and contribute to life-saving medical evaluations in a leading medical facility. Duties Perform high-quality CT scans using state-of-the-art imaging technology, ensuring optimal image clarity for diagnostic purposes Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during procedures Collaborate with medical staff to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient history and clinical indications Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with healthcare regulations Assist in the calibration and maintenance of CT equipment to ensure consistent performance and safety standards are met Support additional diagnostic imaging services such as nuclear medicine, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, sonography, X-ray, and physiology assessments as needed Requirements Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited program Proven experience operating CT scanners in a clinical setting, preferably within a Level I Trauma Center or Level II trauma center environment Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles Familiarity with emergency room procedures and urgent care workflows to respond swiftly in critical situations Experience performing advanced imaging modalities including PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, nuclear medicine, sonography, X-ray, and DEXA scans is highly desirable Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control measures to ensure patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or trauma centers Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Join us to make a meaningful impact through cutting-edge medical imaging while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment!
