Schedule:
Travel/contract-based assignment; schedule details provided during interview
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification (IR or VI credential preferred) State licensure as required Experience assisting with invasive imaging procedures Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-focused attitude Working knowledge of advanced imaging equipment, PACS, and RIS Ability to adapt smoothly to new teams and settings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety Prepare patients, sterile equipment, and all required supplies for interventional radiology exams Gather relevant medical history for accurate procedure planning Set up and troubleshoot imaging devices, pressure injectors, and physiological monitors Work closely with the Radiologist during complex diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures Adhere to established protocols, practicing ALARA techniques and ensuring optimal image quality Maintain and replenish necessary supplies promptly Complete precise documentation in medical records and radiology information systems Support and mentor newly assigned team members or students as needed Perform quality assurance tasks and uphold department standards of excellence and professionalism
