Key Qualifications:

Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with CT credentialing Prior experience operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic imaging Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA techniques Proficiency in administering IV contrast media, including use of power injectors Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems for imaging and study indexing Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and understanding Review clinical data and obtain relevant patient history to tailor exams appropriately Set up procedure rooms, monitor supplies, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and preparedness Analyze patient anatomy, adjust settings, and perform high-quality CT scans Administer IV contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and provide immediate care if needed Support radiologists in complex sterile procedures such as biopsies Apply best practices in radiation protection to ensure patient and staff safety Manage image delivery and documentation within PACS and RIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance Demonstrate professionalism, open communication, and a positive, patient-centered approach Enjoy a fast-paced, supportive environment where your expertise and attention to detail make a real impact on patient outcomes.
