Job Description
Job Overview Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Fairview Clinic in Blaine, MN! This is a .5 FTE (40 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on Monday (7AM - 6PM) and Friday (7AM - 5PM). This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Clinic Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in an ambulatory setting. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for patients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The clinic radiologic technologist supports all diagnostic imaging procedures offered in the care setting. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for special procedure cases as well as responding to trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an ambulatory care environment. Responsibilities Maintains patient care standards Accurately performs diagnostic exams and procedures Identifies relevant data from images accurately. Communicates pertinent data clearly to appropriate health care professionals Verify patient identification and documentation Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of service Completes quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol. Ensures patient data integrity Accurately maintains and updates patient records including; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner Performs accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving Required Qualifications Certification as required by the ARRT Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications
B.S./B.A. 3
