Radiology Tech

Purpose of Job This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established procedures. Job Functions Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.

Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays.

Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.

Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.

Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.

Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience Graduate of an AMA accredited school of RadiologyRegistered by the ARRTMeet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray scansAbility to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functionsAbility to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populationsAbility to work autonomously and as a teamCapable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations Ability to communicate in English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above License/Certifications CPR Certification Registered by the ARRT Link to Employee Health Physical Demands Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
