MRI Technologist - Up to $9,000 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities/Job Description:

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following schedule: Week 1: Monday and Tuesday, 2PM

• 2AM Week 2: Thursday and Friday, 2PM
• 2AM If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm
• 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials. If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm
• 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.

00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The MRI Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). Responsibilities Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes Performs individualized, compassionate patient care Performs high quality examinations Identifies relevant data from images accurately Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs. Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional Required Qualifications ARRT Radiology Tech Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Preferred Qualifications Previous healthcare experience 1 year experience in a related role Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements Additional certifications in Imaging
