CT Technologist - Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are excited to welcome a CT Technologist to join our high-performing imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will workon the day shift, Monday through Friday with no weekends! Schedule is subject to change to support department need. The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. Responsibilities Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes Performs individualized, compassionate patient care Performs high quality examinations Identifies relevant data from images accurately Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs. Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional Verify patient identification and documentation Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures Required Qualifications Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more years of experience in a related role Previous ambulatory care experience Additional certifications in Imaging ARRT CT certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
