- Full-time Job description Minnesota Vascular Surgery Center (MVSC) is currently looking for a Radiologic Technologist at our surgery center.
- 10 hour shifts Monday
- Friday.
Radiologic Technologist Requirements:
Operate advanced angiographic and imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic endovascular procedures. Prepare and maintain the angiography suite, ensuring sterile and fully equipped procedural readiness. Assist physicians with catheterizations, embolizations, stent placements, and other vascular interventions. Support patient comfort by explaining procedures and monitoring their condition throughout. Maintain strict radiation safety and infection prevention standards. Perform pre- and post-procedure imaging and accurately document all procedure details.
Education and Experience Requirements:
ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)); IR or CV specialty a plus. Licensed to practice in Minnesota. Willing to train in Interventional Radiology. Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and endovascular imaging protocols. Technical proficiency with fluoroscopy/angiography equipment and imaging software. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently in a high-acuity environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety.Physical Requirements:
Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time. Frequent lift up to 35 lbs., occasional lift up to 50 lbs. Push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. or persons in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 lbs. Frequent patient positioning including bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, & reaching.Work Environment:
Fast-paced angiography suite with advanced imaging equipment. Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting. Exposure to radiation and blood-borne pathogens—full safety protocols providedBenefits We Offer:
