CT Technologist - Casual

Job Overview Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at our Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! This is a casual position that will work as needed by the department. We currently have day/evening/night/weekend shifts available to pick up. •If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm - 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials. •If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm - 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials. The CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). Responsibilities Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes Performs excellent patient care Performs examinations Identifies relevant data from images accurately Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs. Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures Ensures patient data integrity Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures Required Qualifications ARRT Radiology Tech Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a related role Additional certifications in Imaging Previous ambulatory care experience Strong interpersonal skills Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
