Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification required Minimum 1 year experience as an IR Tech in an acute care setting preferred Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and safety protocols Current BLS certification Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt to new technologies and fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality IR imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to protocols Document procedures and update patient records accurately Adhere to hospital safety and infection control standards Provide support and education to patients throughout procedures
