Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Support diagnostic imaging and patient care as a CT Technologist specializing in comprehensive CT scans across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This evening shift position offers a 13-week contract assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, including weekend coverage every weekend. Night shift orientation will take place during the day shift, and candidates must be available for the full orientation week.
Location:
This role is located in Chesterfield, MO, close to vibrant St. Louis. St. Louis is renowned for iconic attractions like the Gateway Arch and offers dynamic entertainment districts, major league sports teams (St. Louis Cardinals and Blues), and unique cultural experiences like the City Museum. The area also boasts a rich brewing history with nearly 65 craft breweries and excellent dining options, making it an engaging place to live and work.
Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with diagnostic CT scans and advanced interventional procedures including biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography. Provide patient care and support during all CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Apply radiation safety principles diligently. Organize the daily CT schedule and support team needs effectively. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for image interpretation and procedure completion.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of CT technologist experience with proficiency on GE equipment. CT Registry certification and BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Experience working with
EPIC EMR
preferred. Ability to adapt quickly and work well with diverse team members and patients. Availability to float within the department as needed.
