1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital, with 1+ year of experience and ARRT certification required. Details Short-term acute care hospital with 110 staffed beds CT scan department with a moderate daily caseload across 115 rooms Patient population is primarily adult; pediatric cases, including infants and neonates, are rarely encountered and redirected to a children's facility within the system Weekend volume is ED-driven 5x8 evening shifts, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM One week of on-call shifts per month, which may include weekend coverage Floating within clinical scope may be required per facility policy Charting performed in Epic; experience required Siemens CT scanner experience required Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required Current BLS and ARRT certifications required CT registration preferred Valid Missouri state license required for consideration; Illinois candidates may be considered with a pending IL license Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Some initial orientation sessions will be scheduled on weekdays due to limited weekend class availability Scrub color is light gray/silver Free parking is available on-site No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any facility in this system as a traveler Travel assignments are limited to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required before returning
