Opportunity:

Radiology/ CT Tech Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• One week of call shifts per month required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• CT registered technologist preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• No weekend requirements outside of call duties
• Moderate daily caseload with 115 rooms
• Float within service line as needed
• Work with Siemens equipment/scanner experience required
• Required certifications:

BLS, ARRT

• Must wear light gray/silver scrubs
• Chart using Epic system
• Free parking available in facility parking lot
• Weekend shifts are primarily ED volume driven
• Rarely work with pediatric population - infants/neonates transferred to Children's Hospital
• Work with patient age groups: adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Skills include CT scans of abdomen, brain, chest, head, pelvis with/without contrast, emergency department procedures, and vascular CTA
• Some initial orientation must occur on weekdays due to limited weekend class availability

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 110 staffed beds and utilizes Epic charting system. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with modern equipment including Siemens CT scanners. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers various specialty services while working closely with the larger healthcare system network to ensure appropriate patient transfers when specialized pediatric care is needed.
