- Interventional Radiology Tech Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology/interventional radiology (IR) procedures consistent with the established standards of medical care in radiology, follows policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
Job Summary
- Post Prim Adv Imag Stdnt CoxHealth recognizes and considers the Primary Advanced Imaging Student an asset to the clinical imaging in which they are training.
Therefore hiring primary advanced imaging students as they near the end of their training secures competent staff to fill open posted positions. The advanced imaging student assists and performs imaging/procedures in the advanced clinical area under the guidance of the certified advanced imaging staff. Job Requirements•

Required:
Graduate of ARRT accredited
School of Radiological Technology Preferred:
Associates Degree in
Radiology Experience:
Required:
One Year of Dedicated Experience in
Diagnostic Radiology Preferred:
1-2 Years Dedicated Experience in
IR Skills:
Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information. Proficient in using computers and computer systems. Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
