Radiology Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities Operate a variety of imaging equipment including X-ray, CT (Computed Tomography), and nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure. Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures. Collaborate with physicians to perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret images, and provide accurate reports for clinical decision-making. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in emergency situations within Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers by providing rapid diagnostic imaging support in urgent care and emergency room settings. Qualifications Proven experience working in emergency medicine environments or trauma centers, preferably Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Hands-on experience with a broad range of imaging modalities including X-ray, and CT. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to analyze images accurately for clinical interpretation. Excellent understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during invasive procedures. Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments. $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
