Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for the assignment; providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available to maintain a continuous exposure record.
Unit Details:
Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician specifications, including patient transfers, use of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, patient education, positioning, immobilization, following provider imaging orders, image quality evaluation, and submission of required images and related clinical information to the radiologist for interpretation. Responsible for operation of X-ray imaging and related equipment, preparation and administration of contrast per radiologist protocol, radiation safety measures (ALARA), sterile technique and infection prevention, and supervision and evaluation of student radiographers in the clinical setting.
Shift & Scheduling:
Varied assignment shifts with 12•and 8-hour shifts. 7 days maximum time off 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years Proof of identification required
