Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for taking X-Ray Exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety. Collaborates with the Clinic Office Nurse and/or Provider in providing basic nursing care for clinic patients.
Receives direction from:
Radiology Manager, Nurses, Providers Clinical Managers/Supervisors
EDUCATION
Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program, required. LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S): American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration or eligibility, required. Current State Licensure, required. BLS, required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures, required. Anatomy and Physiology, required. Knowledge of Radiation Safety, required. Ability to follow and apply written direction, required. Attention to Detail when performing radiological exams, required. Computer and keyboard skills, required.
OTHER:
Use of unusual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
